“Nations” Series – French 1st rate ship of the line

Description

A mighty first rate ship of the line proudly flying french colours, a floating fortress with around a hundred guns and a small army as crew.
These leviathans spearheaded the battle line in combat firing from their three to sometimes even four full gun decks.
They were cumbersome and slow beasts but if a man of war like that got its broadside to bear, any enemy was in for a storm of iron.
