A fine third rate ship of the line proudly flying dutch colours.
This was the most common type of warship during the napoleonic wars.
They were large enough to pack quite a punch but still more versatile than their larger comrades.
Entering battle behind the mighty 1st and 2nd rate ships of the line these vessels formed the backbone of any fleet.
